It involves a sense of emotional detachment, where one may feel disconnected from their own emotions or the world around them.When you feel numb, you may experience emotions such as emptiness, apathy, or a dulled sense of joy or sadness. It often arises as a protective mechanism in response to overwhelming or traumatic experiences, prolonged stress, or as a symptom of certain mental health conditions.
