A term, that is used to illuminate the many discourses in which one is involved (e.g., philosophy, literary criticism, political commentary), these are practices and even more – practices that intersect with other non-discursive practices. What and how we read and write or hear and say contributes to how we live and in countless other cases we participate in many practices in which different needs are met, desires are awakened, etc., and thus society itself is reproduced.
