Logocentrism is the orientation of those who privilege logos, identity, self-identity, and presence over dynamics (power or might), diversity, and traces.
Logocentrism is considered to be the dominant node or achievement of Western thinking and, more generally, of culture. It is the constant urge to a transcendent moment, where all differences are eliminated, all joints closed, and all meanings fixed.
To make the logos (in itself the true image of harmony and commensurability) a center that contains the understanding of conflicts and incompatibilities by removing a defect in human discourse.
For deconstructivists like Jacques Derrida, conflicts and incompatibilities are the inevitable princes of all discourses.
