Besprochene Welt – from German – Spoken World, is a term used by Harald Weinrich and is often translated as a Discursive or Commented World, which is different from the Narrated World (Erzählten Welt).
The Discursive World is one in which the originator and the recipient are directly involved. For example, the textual world of the political memorandum, the critical essay, the lyric poem, and the scientific report.
The Narrative world, on the other hand, is one in which the sender and the recipient are not, or at least do not appear to be, represented simultaneously in the same world.
